Picton Show Girl

The annual Picton Show Girl competition aims to find an ambassador of Picton Show who has a passion for Agriculture and knowledge of a variety of political and agricultural issues. The Show Girl is selected by a panel of three Judges prior to the Annual Show, where the Show Girl is announced. The duties of a Show Girl include being involved with the annual Show and all other events held by Picton A. H & I. Society, representing the Society at local events and functions, and attending the Zone 2 Showgirl finals to compete in the next stage of The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition.

2015 Show Girl Jasmin Gardener at the Zone 2 Show Girl final in Camden. Jasmin is currently working at Cedar Creek Orchard and completing studies in Captive animals, which includes volunteer work at Taronga Zoo and at Bargo Dingo Sanctuary. She has her own Cattle Stud, and is the Show Teams Stock Manager at Naringi Square Meaters. She completed a traineeship for a Certificate II in Agriculture through Country Valley in Picton, who are regular sponsors of the Picton Show. She is an active member of Picton A. H. & I. Society as a Steward at Picton Show, as well as a member of the General Committee and several Sub-committees. Jasmin is the main organiser behind our newest event, Music on the Meadow, which she is using to raise money to help Australian Farmers through Buy A Bale.
