Zone 2 Show Girl finals
The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition Zone 2 Final was hosted by Camden Show Society on Saturday 6th February 2016. Our Showgirl Jasmin represented the Picton District with pride whilst being judged on her presentation, etiquette, public speaking skills, life goals, and general, rural and local knowledge. Unfortunately our Showgirl was no match for Dana Velasco of Blacktown and Caroline Miller of Berry, who were chosen to represent Zone 2 at the Sydney Royal Show. You can read more about the winning Showgirls here.

Picton Show goes Back to the 1930's
To celebrate 80 years of Picton Show this October, the Show is going Back to the 1930's! Some ways we are incorporating the theme are: vintage car displays, vintage machinery displays, dress-up competitions, historical displays, and, if possible, vintage rides and side shows. The arts and crafts pavilion will also be getting involved with their own theme - "Celebrating 80".
If you're able to help out with anything from the 1930's or have any ideas, please let us know!
